Among other things, Synthesis anti-mechanical options compliment this nicely. That includes synthesis, because the recent changes boosted Amazon's early game vs biological/cyborg units with ecological warfare. In my view Xenoplague contributes less to the Amazon lineup than the other secret techs. Ironically, I'm not sure about is Xenoplague. I main amazon's and with some experimentation I think the pair well almost every secret tech. IMO I think some people too quickly jump to conclusions on which combo's pair well based on surface level details. So while we're all here - I'm curious which combo's people think are off/meta vs on meta?

Ok bad example, but for the most part that's the exception in AOW3, and it still seems like there's still more of a difference with the orc apprentice than we get in planetfall with the dvar initiate, but the mods do add something. That's probably why it's missing from there because nothing is unique.

I just checked in game, all it has is +5hp, -1 res and victory rush and night vision perks, banefire (which is shared by a few other races) and the orc terrain bonuses, which are all pretty useless for the most part and basically just the stock orc unit racial bonuses.

Yeah you're right, orc apprentice for the sorcerer is missing from there.
